PulpaTronics is a startup focused on sustainable innovation, specializing in B2B solutions. The company develops eco-friendly technologies and collaborates with businesses to integrate sustainable practices into their operations, aiming to create a greener and more efficient future.
In this project, I was mainly responsible for updating the brand color system and supporting company materials. My work started with the color update and ended with supporting a collaboration webpage for another company.I will present my work in two parts: Color upgrade and Visual design support.
Background
This color palette gives a slightly aged and muted feel due to its desaturated tones and earthy undertones. The dark blues, browns, and greys lack vibrancy, making them feel subdued and somewhat dusty. The beige and off-white shades further enhance this "worn" look, as they resemble aged paper or faded materials.
Secondly, Without a contrasting accent, there’s no focal point to draw attention, reducing the overall impact and visual appeal. Adding a brighter or more saturated highlight color could help create contrast and improve clarity.
This is the Old color pattern
1. Introduce a Highlight Color –   Bring contrast and energy, making the system more engaging.
2. Redefine Neutrals
– Now the bright color is pure white which is lacking company identification, and the middle colors are messed together. Adjusting beige and off-white to be cleaner and fresher make a more modern and professional look.
3.Balance Stability & Innovation – Keeping the deep navy for trustworthiness while adding brighter elements to reflect a rising startup.
4.Align with Sustainability – Improve a blue-green accent reinforces the brand’s eco-friendly mission and innovation in sustainable tech.
Upgrade direction
Added a Highlight Color – A vibrant turquoise brings contrast and energy, making the design more engaging.
Refined Neutral Tones – Cleaner beige and off-white create a more polished and modern look.Improved Balance – Deep navy and muted blues maintain trustworthiness, while the turquoise adds freshness and innovation.
Stronger Alignment with Sustainability – The blue-green accent reinforces the company’s eco-friendly and startup-driven identity.
New color pattern
These refinements will make the visual identity cleaner, more dynamic, and better suited for a B2B audience.

Design Support

Interactive Icon Making
After completing the overall color system update, my internship work focused on supporting design materials.
Marketing materials, creating illustrations for user experience workshops, designing business cards, and providing UI support for brand collaborations.
